Official withdrawal deadlines are published in the Academic Calendar which is available for download from the HU website or the MyHU student portal. The Office of Records and Registration is responsible for all withdrawal date determinations and these dates can affect the amount of your refund.
Withdrawal deadlines for undergraduate and graduate students follow the below formula for the start of each semester. These are general guidelines, not exact. Exact dates can fluctuate based on holidays, etc.
Week 1 - Students can withdraw from the university with a 100% tuition adjustment
Week 2 - Students can withdraw from the university with a 50% tuition adjustment
Week 3 - Students can withdraw from the university with a 25% tuition adjustment
Week 4 - Students can withdraw from the university with a 0% tuition adjustment
Any official withdrawals dated after the end of the third week of classes are not eligible for a tuition adjustment.
